This is from the C2 generation, which was made between 1962 and 1967 (model years between 1963 and 1967). This Corvette in particular is a dragster. I’m not sure what the engine is, how powerful it is, or what the transmission is. This Corvette can do the quarter mile in 7.16 seconds at 157.43 mph.

Today’s car of the day is this early Ford Escort that was at the 2018 Daytona Turkey Rod Run. This version of the Escort was made for the European market. This one in particular is from the first generation, which was made between 1967 and 1975. The engine of this one is a 1.6 liter Lotus-Ford straight-4 that produces 105 horsepower and 100 pound-feet of torque. The transmission is a 4-speed automatic. This car does 0-60 mph in 9.3 seconds and has a top speed of 115 mph.
