Today’s car (or should I say truck) of the day is this 2018 Shelby F-150 Super Snake that was at the 2018 Barrett-Jackson Auction in Palm Beach. This is from the thirteenth generation of the Ford F-Series, which has been in production since 2013 (the first model year was 2014). The engine is a 5 liter supercharged V8 that produces 750 horsepower. The transmission is a 10-speed automatic. This truck does 0-60 mph in 4.5 seconds and has a top speed of 135 mph.

Today’s car of the day is this BMW i3 that was at the 2018 Barrett-Jackson Auction in Palm Beach. The BMW i3 is an electric car that’s been in production since 2013. The first model year was 2014. This car is powered by a lithium-ion battery that produces 168 horsepower and 184 pound-feet of torque. The transmission is a single-speed fixed ratio. This car does 0-60 mph in 7 seconds and has a top speed of 93 mph. This is also the same i3 from last year.

Today’s car of the day is this ’67 Pontiac GTO that I saw at the 2018 Barrett-Jackson Auction in Palm Beach. This is from the first generation, which was made between 1964 and 1967. It’s from the C4 generation, which was made between 1983 and 1996 (model years between 1984 and 1996). The Grand Sport was only made in 1996. The engine the LT4, which is a 5.7 liter V8 that produces 330 horsepower and 240 pound-feet of torque. The transmission is a 6-speed manual. This car does 0-60 mph in 5.1 seconds and has a top speed of 178 mph. Only 1,000 Grand Sports were made in 1996: 810 coupes and 190 convertibles.
