This is a ’69 Chevy Camaro Yenko that was at the 2019 Mecum Auction in Kissimmee. This is from the first generation of the Camaro, which was made between 1966 and 1969 (model years between 1967 and 1969). Only 201 Yenko Camaros were made in 1969. The engine is a 7 liter V8 that produces 425 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque. The transmission of this one is a 4-speed manual.
This is a 2018 Chevy Camaro Yenko that was at the 2019 Mecum Auction in Kissimmee. This is from the sixth generation, which has been in production since November of 2015 (the first model year was 2016). The engine 6.8 supercharged LT1 V8 that produces 825 horsepower and 760 pound-feet of torque. The transmission of this one is an 8-speed automatic. This is number 7 of the 25 built.
Here’s a 2018 Camaro COPO Hot Wheels Edition that was at the 2019 Mecum Auction in Kissimmee. This is from the sixth generation of the Camaro, which has been in production since 2015 (the first model year was 2016). The COPO is a race version, and only 69 are made annually, and only 29 were the Hot Wheels Edition. The engine is a 5 liter supercharged V8 that produces 580 horsepower. The transmission is a 3-speed automatic. This car does 0-60 mph in 4 seconds and has a top speed of 175 mph.
Today’s car of the day is this ’84 Camaro Berlinetta Starship Edition that was at the 2018 Daytona Turkey Rod Run. This is from the third generation of the Camaro, which was made between October of 1981 and August of 1992 (model years between 1982 and 1992). I recently saw this ‘73 Chevy Camaro Z/28 in Tarpon Springs. This is from the second generation, which was made between 1970 and 1981. The engine is a 5.7 liter V8 that produces 245 horsepower and 280 pound-feet of torque. This Camaro was modified to have a 5-speed manual transmission.
Today’s car of the day is this ’95 Camaro Z/28 that was at the 2018 Barrett-Jackson Auction in Palm Beach. This is from the fourth generation, which was made between 1992 and 2002 (model years between 1993 and 2002). The engine is a 5.7 liter V8 that produces 275 horsepower and 325 pound-feet of torque. The transmission of this one is a 6-speed manual. This car does 0-60 mph in 6.2 seconds and has a top speed of 158 mph. This Camaro sold for $17,600.
