1985 Pontiac Trans Am Kammback Concept | 2019 Mecum Auction in Kissimmee

Here’s the ’85 Pontiac Trans Am Kammback Concept, and I saw it at the 2019 Mecum Auction in Kissimmee. The Pontiac Firebird is a muscle car that was made between February of 1967 and August of 2002. This is from the third generation, which was made between 1982 and 1992. The Kammback Concept is an experimental prototype that served as a test mule and a demonstrator. The engine is a 5 liter LB9 V8 that produces 205 horsepower. The transmission is a 5-speed manual.

Car of the Day 5/4/18

Today’s car of the day is the 2018 Camaro COPO Concept, and I saw it at the 2018 Barrett-Jackson Auction in Palm Beach. This is from the sixth generation of the Camaro, which has been in production since 2015 (the first model year was 2016). The COPO is a race version, and only 69 are made annually. The engine is a 5 liter supercharged V8 that produces 580 horsepower. The transmission is a 3-speed automatic. This car does 0-60 mph in 4 seconds and has a top speed of 175 mph. The starting price of the COPO is $100,000.
