This is from the fifth generation, which was made between 2002 and 2012 (model years between 2003 and 2012). The engine is a 4.2 liter V8 that produces 394 horsepower and 333 pound-feet of torque. The transmission is a 6-speed automatic. This car does 0-60 mph in 4.9 seconds and has a top speed of 171 mph. This Maserati sold for $22,000.
Today’s car of the day is this 2010 Ferrari 599 GTB that was at the 2018 Barrett-Jackson Auction in Palm Beach. The Ferrari 599 is a supercar that was made between 2006 and 2012. The 599 was unveiled at the 2006 Geneva Motor Show. The engine is a 6 liter V12 that produces 612 horsepower and 448 pound-feet of torque. The transmission of this one is a 6-speed F1 sequential. This car does 0-60 mph in 3.6 seconds and has a top speed of 205 mph. This car weighs 3,726 pounds since the chassis is an aluminum monocoque.
Today’s car of the day is this Maserati 3500 GT Touring Berlina that I saw at Ferrari of Tampa Bay in December of 2017. The Maserati 3500 GT is a sports car that was made between 1957 and 1964.
