Today’s car of the day is this 2017 BMW i8 that was at the 2018 Barrett-Jackson Auction in Palm Beach. The i8 is a hybrid sports car from BMW. The concept model for the i8 was unveiled at the Frankfurt Auto Show in Germany back in 2011 and was featured in the movie Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol. The car didn’t go into production until 2014. The engine is a 1.5 liter turbocharged straight-3 with a lithium ion battery that produce a total of 357 horsepower and 420 pound-feet of torque. The transmission is a 6-speed automatic, and it’s one of those transmissions where the driver can change gears with either the clutch or the paddle shifters. This car can do 0-60 mph in 4.5 seconds and tops out at 155 mph. The starting price of the i8 is $147,500.

This is from the thirteenth generation of the Ford F-Series, which has been in production since 2013 (the first model year was 2014). The engine is a 5 liter supercharged V8 that produces 750 horsepower. The transmission is a 10-speed automatic. This truck does 0-60 mph in 4.5 seconds and has a top speed of 135 mph.

Today’s car of the day is this BMW i3 that was at the 2018 Barrett-Jackson Auction in Palm Beach. The BMW i3 is an electric car that’s been in production since 2013. The first model year was 2014.
