The engine is a 6.1 liter Hemi V8 that produces 425 horsepower and 420 pound-feet of torque. The transmission of this one is a 6-speed manual.
Today’s car of the day is this ‘74 Dodge Charger SE that was at the 2013 Daytona Spring Show. This is from the third generation of B-body Chargers, which were made between 1971 and 1974. The engine of this one is a 5 liter V8 that’s been modified, but I’m not sure how powerful it is. The transmission of this one is a 5-speed manual.
Today’s car of the day is this ’76 Pontiac Trans Am that was at the 2018 Barrett-Jackson Auction in Palm Beach. This is from the second generation, which was made between 1970 and 1981. The engine of this one is a 6.5 liter V8 that produces 185 horsepower and 310 pound-feet of torque. The transmission of this one is a 3-speed automatic. This Trans Am sold for $26,400.

It’s from the first phase of the fifth generation of the Mustang, which was made between September of 2004 and December of 2008 (model years between 2005 and 2009). This generation of the Shelby GT500 was made between 2006 and 2009 (model years between 2007 and 2009). The engine is a 5.4 liter supercharged V8 that produces 500 horsepower and 475 pound-feet of torque. The transmission is a 6-speed manual. This Shelby was auctioned off for $47,300.
I recently saw this ‘73 Chevy Camaro Z/28 in Tarpon Springs. This is from the second generation, which was made between 1970 and 1981. The engine is a 5.7 liter V8 that produces 245 horsepower and 280 pound-feet of torque. This Camaro was modified to have a 5-speed manual transmission.

This car weighs 3,430 pounds since the body is made of carbon fiber and aluminum. The chassis is a steel tubular spaceframe backbone. The front splitter and rear spoiler are carbon fiber. This Viper was auctioned off for $134,200.

This Hellcat was auctioned off for $63,800.
