Today’s car of the day is this ’66 Shelby GT350H that was at the 2018 Barrett-Jackson Auction in Palm Beach. It’s from the first phase of the first generation of the Mustang, which was made between 1964 and 1966. The GT350H was made as a deal with the Hertz Corporation to offer 1,000 GT350’s for rental, and 1,000 were built. The engine is a 4.7 liter V8 that produces 310 horsepower and 319 pound-feet of torque. The transmission is a 3-speed automatic. This car does 0-60 mph in 5.9 seconds and has a top speed of 129 mph. This Shelby was auctioned off for $104,500.

It’s from the third phase of the first generation, which was made between July of 1968 and June of 1970. The engine is a 5 liter V8 that produces 290 horsepower and 290 pound-feet of torque. The transmission of this one is a 4-speed manual. This Mustang was auctioned off for $42,900.

Today’s car of the day is this 2007 Mustang GT Vortech Edition that was at the 2018 Barrett-Jackson Auction in Palm Beach. It’s from the first phase of the fifth generation, which was made between September of 2004 and December of 2008 (model years between 2005 and 2009). The Vortech Edition was unveiled at the 2006 SEMA Show, and only 100 were built. These were modded by Vortech Engineering and were sold by select Ford dealers. The engine is a 4.6 liter supercharged Modular V8 that produces 515 horsepower. The transmission is a 5-speed manual. This Mustang was auctioned off for $14,300.

Today’s car of the day is this 2016 Shelby Terlingua that was at the 2018 Barrett-Jackson Auction in Palm Beach. The Shelby Terlingua is a high performance variant of the Mustang. The engine is a 5 liter supercharged Coyote V8 that produces 750 horsepower. The transmission is a 6-speed manual. This car does 0-60 mph in 3.5 seconds. I’m not what the top speed is, but I think it’s at least 200 mph.

It’s from the sixth generation of the Mustang, which has been in production since July of 2014 (the first model year was 2015). The engine is a 5 liter Coyote V8 that produces 460 horsepower and 420 pound-feet of torque. The transmission of this one is a 10-speed automatic. The starting price of the Roush Stage 2 is $45,455.

It’s from the sixth generation, which has been in production since July of 2014 (the first model year was 2015). The Bullitt was at the 2018 North American International Auto Show, and Molly McQueen (Steve McQueen’s granddaughter) presented it. This variant is being made to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Steve McQueen film Bullitt. The engine is a 5 liter Coyote V8 that produces 480 horsepower and 420 pound-feet of torque. The transmission is a 6-speed manual. This car weighs 3,709 pounds since the chassis is unitary steel. The top speed is 163 mph. The starting price is $47,495.
