This is from the C3 generation of the Corvette, which was made between 1968 and 1982. The engine of this one is a 5.7 liter V8 that produces 220 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque. The transmission of this one is a 3-speed automatic. This car does 0-60 mph in 8.2 seconds and has a top speed of 121 mph. This Corvette was auctioned off for $28,500.

Today’s car of the day is this 2007 Mustang GT Vortech Edition that was at the 2018 Barrett-Jackson Auction in Palm Beach. It’s from the first phase of the fifth generation, which was made between September of 2004 and December of 2008 (model years between 2005 and 2009). The Vortech Edition was unveiled at the 2006 SEMA Show, and only 100 were built. These were modded by Vortech Engineering and were sold by select Ford dealers. The engine is a 4.6 liter supercharged Modular V8 that produces 515 horsepower. The transmission is a 5-speed manual. This Mustang was auctioned off for $14,300.

Today’s car of the day is this 2018 Chevy Camaro Hot Wheels Edition that was at the 2018 Barrett-Jackson Auction in Palm Beach. It’s from the sixth generation of the Camaro, which has been in production since 2015 (the first model year was 2016). The Hot Wheels Edition is being made to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Hot Wheels, and only 2,500 are being built. The engine is the LT1, which is a 6.2 liter V8 that produces 455 horsepower and 455 pound-feet of torque. The transmission of this one is a 6-speed manual.
