1954 Corvette | 2019 Mecum Auction in Kissimmee

This is a ’54 Corvette that was at the 2019 Mecum Auction in Kissimmee. This is from the C1 generation, which was made between 1953 and 1962. A total of 3,640 Corvettes were made in 1954. Most of them were polo white, but this isn’t one of them. The engine is a 3.9 liter Blue Flame straight-6 that produces 150 horsepower and 223 pound-feet of torque. The transmission is a 2-speed Powerglide automatic. This car does 0-60 mph in 11.2 seconds and has a top speed of 102 mph. This car weighs 2,844 pounds since the body is fiberglass, and the chassis is a steel frame.
