2005 Ford GT | 2019 Mecum Auction in Kissimmee

This is a 2005 Ford GT that was at the 2019 Mecum Auction in Kissimmee. The Ford GT was made in 2005 and 2006 as a spiritual successor to the legendary GT40. The concept model was unveiled at the 2002 North American International Auto Show. The engine is a 5.4 liter supercharged Modular V8 that produces 550 horsepower and 500 pound-feet of torque. The transmission is a 6-speed manual. This car does 0-60 mph in 3.3 seconds and has a top speed of 205 mph. This car weighs 3,391 pounds since the body panels are composite and the chassis is an aluminum spaceframe.
