Here’s a ’64 Ford Fairlane Thunderbolt that was at the 2013 Zephyrhills Fall AutoFest. The Ford Fairlane Thunderbolt is a factory drag racing version of the Fairlane, and only 100 were built in 1964. The engine is a 7 liter 4-barrel FE V8 that produces 425 horsepower and 480 pound-feet of torque, even though some people estimate the actual output to be 600 horsepower. The transmission of this one is a 4-speed manual. This car does 0-60 mph in 4.6 seconds and has a top speed of 124 mph. This car can run the quarter mile in 11.8 seconds at 123 mph.
