This is a 1970 Plymouth Superbird that was at the 2013 Daytona Turkey Rod Run. The Plymouth Superbird is a muscle car that’s based on the Plymouth Roadrunner. The Superbird was only produced in 1970 and is very similar to the ’69 Dodge Charger Daytona. Like the Charger Daytona, the Superbird was used in NASCAR. The engine of this one is a 7.2 liter Super Commando 4-barrel V8 that produces 375 horsepower and 480 pound-feet of torque. The transmission of this one is a 3-speed Torqueflite automatic.
