The 427 in the name refers to the displacement of the engine which is 427 cubic inches (7 liters). The engine is a 7 liter LS7 V8 that produces 505 horsepower and 470 pound-feet of torque. The transmission is a 6-speed manual. This car does 0-60 mph in 3.8 seconds and has a top speed of 190 mph.
