Today’s car of the day is this 2016 Shelby GT-H that was at the 2018 Barrett-Jackson Auction in Palm Beach. It was unveiled at the 2016 New York Auto Show. The engine is a 5 liter Coyote V8 that produces 435 horsepower and 390 pound-feet of torque. The transmission is a 6-speed automatic. The GT-H comes with a Shelby GT-H carbon fiber front splitter, rear spoiler, dash plate, and many more. Only 140 of the 2016 Shelby GT-H were built.
Today’s car of the day is this 2012 Shelby GT500 that was at the 2018 Barrett-Jackson Auction in Palm Beach. It’s from the second phase of fifth generation of the Mustang (which was made between January of 2009 and June of 2014 (model years between 2010 and 2014). The engine is a 5.4 liter supercharged Modular V8 that produces 540 horsepower and 510 pound-feet of torque. The transmission is a 6-speed manual. This Shelby was auctioned off for $35,200.
Today’s car of the day is this ’70 Dodge Charger R/T that was at the 2018 Barrett-Jackson Auction in Palm Beach. It’s from the second generation of the B-Body Dodge Charger, which was made between 1968 and 1970. The engine of this one is a 7.2 liter V8 that produces 375 horsepower and 480 pound-feet of torque. The transmission of this one is a 3-speed Torqueflite automatic. This car does 0-60 mph in 6.3 seconds and has a top speed of 163 mph. This Charger was auctioned off for $63,800.

It’s from the C4 generation, which was made between 1983 and 1996 (model years 1984 and 1996). The ZR1 was designed by Jerry Palmer, and was made between 1990 and 1995. A total of 7,025 were built. The engine is a 5.7 liter LT5 V8 that produces 405 horsepower and 385 pound-feet of torque. The transmission is a 6-speed manual. This car weighs 3,505 pounds since the body is fiberglass and the chassis is a steel tubular frame. This car does 0-60 mph in 4.9 seconds and has a top speed of 170 mph. This Corvette was auctioned off for $34,100.
