This car does 0-60 mph in 12.9 seconds and has a top speed of 99 mph. The reason why the Mustang II wasn’t as powerful as its predecessor is because of the oil crisis of 1973, which caused automakers to build smaller and fuel efficient vehicles. The Mustang was one of many vehicles affected by this. The Mustang II also shares the same platform as the Ford Pinto.
